Job Summary:
SUN Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean floors, walls, and surfaces using various cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and reporting any maintenance issues to management.
- Waste Management: Remove trash and recyclables from collection receptacles and ensure that the facility is free of clutter and debris.
- Grounds Maintenance: Mow lawns, trim bushes, and perform other outdoor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Reporting and Communication: Notify management of any maintenance issues or concerns and communicate with colleagues and supervisors as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a janitorial or maintenance role preferred.
- Skills: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm or Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 12:30am and Friday, 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
