Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Jira-Confluence developer to support the Department of the Navy. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in problem-solving and software development to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the Navy's Jira-Confluence environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software enhancements to Jira-Confluence capabilities to support customer needs
  • Maintain and enhance Jira-Confluence apps to support the Department of the Navy's integration of workflows and documentation
  • Create custom Jira-Confluence workflows and reports, ensuring they meet user requirements and are user-friendly
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
  • Maintain and update Jira-Confluence applications and workflows to improve efficiency and functionality
  • Ensure all developments are in compliance with Department of the Navy's cybersecurity standards and protocols
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Jira-Confluence functionality
Requirements
  • CompTIA Security+ or IAM II or higher Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, including JavaScript, Java Server Pages, and other programming technologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in Jira-Confluence
  • Experience developing in the front end, backend, and middleware tiers
  • Proficiency in XML and JSON
  • Knowledge of how to interface with SQL Server
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
