About the Role

As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct care and support to individuals with varying needs, including autism and related conditions. You will work closely with our team to develop personalized plans that cater to each individual's unique requirements.

  • Develop Meaningful Relationships: Build strong bonds with the individuals you serve, helping them grow, learn, and thrive in their communities.
  • Support Participants with Daily Tasks: Assist with personal hygiene, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, ensuring their overall well-being.
  • Assist with Behavioral Challenges: Provide patient and compassionate support to individuals who may exhibit behavioral challenges.
Requirements

To succeed as a Caregiver Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred)
  • Skills: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible; valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance (in some positions)
