Role Overview

We are seeking an Anesthesia Care Specialist to join our team at Williamson Health, providing comprehensive pre- and post-anesthesia care to patients in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time of admission.
  • Plan individualized patient care, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems and attainable outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Provide education, emotional, and psychosocial support for patients and families.
  • Handle, transport, store, prepare, and administer medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Document accurately and timely.
Requirements
  1. Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
  2. Licensed in the state of Tennessee.
  3. One year experience in PACU Phase 1 or 2, CCU, or Emergency Room.
  4. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  5. PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
Work Environment

A dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit/Holding Area with a patient population ranging from less than one year of age to ninety-nine plus years of age.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $ $93,000. This compensation package reflects the level of expertise and qualifications required for this role.
