Key Responsibilities
The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for:
- Conducting diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met effectively.
- Engaging in performance improvement and quality control activities.
- Managing the processing and transmission of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Valid licensure and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by state regulations.
- ARRT-R certification is mandatory.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations is essential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Graduation from an ARRT-accredited program is required.
- Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proficient computer skills are necessary.
