Key Responsibilities

The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for:

  • Conducting diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met effectively.
  • Engaging in performance improvement and quality control activities.
  • Managing the processing and transmission of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:

  1. Valid licensure and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by state regulations.
  2. ARRT-R certification is mandatory.
  3. Familiarity with state and federal regulations is essential.
  4. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  5. Graduation from an ARRT-accredited program is required.
  6. Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  7. Proficient computer skills are necessary.
