Eataly Artisan

At Eataly North America, we are seeking a skilled Artisan to join our team at our new store opening in Short Hills. As an Artisan, you will be responsible for sharing your expertise on products and processes at our fresh market retail stations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist retail counters with daily operations to ensure smooth counter operations
• Ensure retail supplies are in stock and utilized properly at all stations
• Stock counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Slice, weigh, label, display, sell, and package products per department standards and guest specifications
• Manage transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
• Provide a steady presence on the floor, interacting with guests, employees, vendors, and visitors
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in food service
• Knowledge of steps of service
• Great communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Italian products
