Position: UAS Operator / Simulation Specialist
Company Overview: Air Traffic Engineering Co LLC dba ATEC is seeking skilled Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Operators to provide essential support for simulation operations related to air traffic control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with air traffic control (ATC) and respond to issued clearances while managing the simulated aircraft's movements.
- Utilize UAS ground stations to conduct simulations as required by the Simulation Branch.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent military drone pilot training. Waivers may be considered based on relevant experience.
Experience Requirements:
- Entry Level: Up to five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Mid Level: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Senior Level: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US citizen or provide documentation proving eligibility to work in the US.
- Selected candidates will undergo a government investigation.
- Must have resided in the US for at least the past three years.
Work Environment:
- Position requires onsite reporting.
- Part-Time schedule, approximately 5-20 hours per week.
Compensation:
- Salary is contingent upon years of experience.
