Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the onsite Infrastructure lead responsible for the daily management of new maritime port facilities supporting the NOAA fleet. As a Mid-Senior level professional, you will act as the primary liaison with onsite representatives for the construction of multiple facilities.

A background in Project Management and construction is essential, with a preference for candidates who have experience in engineering, NAVFAC collaboration, or maritime facility construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, manage tasks independently, and thrive in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are crucial, along with the ability to adapt to various challenges. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a US Government issued CAC card for facility access.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with the NOAA infrastructure program management team to support infrastructure projects.
  2. For specific positions, daily onsite presence is required, with limited travel for others.
  3. Lead the design review process for construction drawings and manage design changes.
  4. Provide oversight across all trades involved in facilities construction.
  5. Manage documentation and communications related to all aspects of construction.
  6. Facilitate meetings, ensuring actionable outcomes and effective problem-solving.
  7. Multitask efficiently, handling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  9. Maintain high organizational standards, ensuring project documentation is accurate and accessible.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in construction oversight and Project Management for infrastructure projects.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Public trust security clearance is necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem identification and resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document meetings comprehensively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NOAA facilities.
  • Background in government facilities new construction.
  • Familiarity with navy construction and NAVFAC projects.
  • Current possession of a US Government CAC.
