They will also mentor any apprentice technicians assigned to them.We are in search of a qualified Service Technician with substantial hands-on experience. Familiarity with the Toyota brand and ASE certifications are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks as specified on repair orders with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Identify the root cause of malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with the parts department to procure required components.
- Preserve and label parts if the service is under warranty or at the customer’s request.
- Inspect vehicles to assess if additional safety or service work is necessary.
- Inform the service advisor promptly if further work is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed on time.
- Document all work performed accurately.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles when necessary or refer to the designated test technician, ensuring customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
- Oversee the work of any apprentice technicians assigned to them.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions.
- Stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area, ensuring accountability for all dealership-owned tools.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any incidents to a manager or supervisor immediately.
