Key Responsibilities- Assist with Patient Admissions and Transfers
Work closely with our nursing staff to ensure a smooth transition for patients, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Provide Personal Care and HygieneAssist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Deliver Evening Care and SupportProvide evening care and support to patients, including bed baths, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens, while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Assist with General Nursing CareWork under the supervision of our registered nurses to provide general nursing care, including positioning, transfers, and lifting patients, as well as using specialized equipment.
Respond to Patient Needs and ConcernsAnticipate and respond to patient needs, including answering call lights, providing hourly rounding, and conducting bedside shift reports.
Monitor and Report Patient ConditionsObserve and report any changes in patient mental or physical conditions to our licensed personnel, ensuring timely interventions and care.
Maintain Patient Safety and Infection ControlOptimize patient safety by using equipment, clinical skills, and communication, while maintaining Universal Precautions and following policies and procedures.
Implement Isolation PrecautionsMaintain and implement isolation precautions as directed or per policies, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
Requirements- Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses and CertificationsCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
