Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and the ability to operate complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results.
  • Ensure compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
  • Assist with budget preparation and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology or Clinical and Diagnostic Science with an emphasis in nuclear medicine.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • One year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
  • Certified in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds and support patients up to 400 pounds with assistance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
