Job Details:

The role involves working nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a schedule of 12x3, totaling 36 hours per week. There may be a requirement to work during major holidays and to pick up an additional shift during the scheduled period.

Qualifications:
  • Active NV License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry
  • Successful completion of a telemetry competency exam, including the ability to identify and measure rhythm strips
  • AHA BCLS certification
  • AHA ACLS certification
  • NIHSS (APEX) certification
  • Experience with open-heart surgical patients is preferred but not mandatory
Additional Information:
  • Work within a 38-bed unit staffed with RNs
  • Patient ratios are determined by acuity and workload, typically ranging from 1:4 to 1:6
  • Travelers may be required to float to various units based on organizational needs, up to their competency level
  • Potential to float to Intensive Care Units for telemetry or medically appropriate assignments, as well as medical-surgical units
