Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Endovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a key member of our Endovascular Laboratory, you will be responsible for leading a team of Radiologic Technologists and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Radiologic Technologists in the Endovascular Laboratory, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
  • Perform highly specialized radiological procedures involving complex imaging equipment and techniques.
  • Assist physicians with therapeutic procedures, including vascular, neurological, spinal, and multi-organ interventions.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement activities to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • At least 4 years of experience as an Endovascular Rad Tech.
  • Prior experience in a lead role or HM experience and performance that demonstrates leadership abilities.
  • ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) AND CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure OR CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure AND BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) AND ARRT-VI - Radiologic Technologist - Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT) AND RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI).
