Job Summary

Marquette General Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Imaging department. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiography and angioplasty.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab suite, including the setup and operation of imaging equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
  • Assist the physician during procedures, including injecting contrast media and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures and imaging equipment.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
