We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our highway construction project inspection team and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that meet regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing and inspecting highway construction projects, with a strong background in civil engineering or construction management.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the client and lead the inspection team to guarantee a quality-built highway construction project.
  • Ensure adherence to roadway plans, DOT specifications, bridge construction standards, and QC plans.
  • Meet daily with the Department Project Engineer/Manager/Supervisor to discuss project schedules.
  • Complete daily Project Sight Activity reports and track contractor work using specified applications.
  • Lead daily safety meetings with field staff.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Ten years or more of highway construction inspection, management, and/or design experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • NECEPT Asphalt, ACI/PennDOT Concrete, NICET certifications.
  • Active problem-solving skills, seeking input from peers and promoting reciprocal learning among team members.
  • A strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, fostering an environment that welcomes diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
