Radiation Therapist Job Description

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at a well-established acute-care hospital in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients while adhering to established protocols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure high-quality care and provide customized radiation treatment to patients.
  • Execute radiation therapy based on individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Educate patients on the radiation therapy process, address their concerns, and offer reassurance throughout the treatment.
Requirements:
  • ARRT Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Texas Radiologic Technologist License in good standing.
  • Proficient in the operation of linear accelerators, CT scanners, and related computer systems.

Salary: $58,462 - $93,387 annually

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
