About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wealth Strategist II to join our team at Edward Jones. As a key member of our Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) group, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial advisors in serving clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Solutions-Based Strategies: Collaborate with financial advisors and clients to understand their needs and develop tailored financial plans that meet their goals.
  • Communicate Effectively: Articulate investment strategies and recommendations to clients and financial advisors, and help build strong relationships between the two groups.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for specific topics related to financial planning, and contribute to the creation of goals-based advice recommendations for clients with complex needs.
  • Contribute to Firm Goals: Collaborate with the WMAS team to contribute to firm goals, projects, and initiatives that support the delivery of financial planning services and implementation through investment solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in financial planning and a strong understanding of investment strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or law required.
  • Licenses: Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire, insurance license required within 6 months of hire, and CFP designation (or equivalent) process begun within 6 months of hire.
