Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations on patients to determine their suitability for anesthesia and identify any potential risks or complications.
Anesthesia AdministrationAdminister anesthesia to patients under the direction of anesthesiologists, ensuring that the patient's vital signs are monitored and maintained within safe limits.
Post-Anesthesia CareProvide post-anesthesia care to patients, including monitoring their vital signs and providing pain management and other necessary interventions.
Collaboration with AnesthesiologistsWork closely with anesthesiologists to ensure that patients receive high-quality anesthesia care and that any complications are promptly addressed.
Communication with SurgeonsCommunicate effectively with surgeons to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and that any concerns or issues are promptly addressed.
Documentation and Record-KeepingMaintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including anesthesia administration, vital signs, and any complications or issues that arise.
Requirements- Education
A Master's degree or higher in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia is required.
ExperienceA minimum of one year of experience as a CRNA is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
CertificationsCertification as a CRNA is required.
SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working ConditionsThis is a full-time position, working 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday with alternating weekly off days. The successful candidate will be required to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
