Job Description

Job Summary

The Travel ICU Nurse RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit environment. This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest clinical practices and technologies
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in patient care
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience, with a focus on neuro/stroke patients
  • Experience with Meditech documentation system
  • Ability to care for 4-5 patients if pulled to neuroscience stepdown unit
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
