Job Description

As a Physical Therapist at Emporia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our patients.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough physical therapy evaluations based on medical orders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing regular progress updates to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
  • A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
