Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at CHI Health Midlands Hospital Acute Care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, and speech therapists to evaluate new patients and develop a plan of care.
  • Provide treatments to patients focusing on increasing range of motion, strengthening, and maintaining balance during daily activities.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and customize it as needed.
  • Perform re-evaluation assessments to update progress and status changes.
  • Document all evaluations, treatments, and changes to the treatment plan.
  • Seek help when needed and provide support to others.
Requirements
  • Active occupational therapy license in the state of Nebraska.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
