Job Summary

As a Senior Plumbing Foreman at H.L. Stoneberger, you will lead commercial plumbing projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. You will supervise and mentor plumbing crews, providing guidance and training to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor plumbing crews, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure plumbing installations meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Material and Equipment Management: Manage procurement and inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a culture of safety on job sites, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing project updates.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues, developing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including work hours, material usage, and changes or deviations from the original project plan.
  • Code and Regulation Compliance: Ensure all plumbing installations adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project expenses and work to minimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-trade job sites to ensure seamless project execution and coordination.
  • Training and Development: Continuously assess and enhance the skills and knowledge of plumbing team members through training and development initiatives.
  • Customer Service: Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service, aiming to exceed client expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to project managers and higher management, keeping them informed about project status, challenges, and successes.
Requirements
  • Able to self-perform daily job duties
  • Ability to organize job site tasks
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to work with an apprentice
  • Ability to coordinate work with general contractors
  • Journeyman License
  • OSHA training
  • Must be available to travel for work
  • 6-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
