Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our clinical team at Healthnet Services, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining procedure rooms, equipment, and instruments for endoscopy procedures.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $75,000 per year

About the Job Description

This role involves working as part of a gastroenterology team, assisting with various procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the endoscopy unit. Key responsibilities include direct patient care, technical support during procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment.

  • Assist physicians and nurses to prepare patients for procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and data for quality improvement purposes
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Collaborate with central sterile processing team to ensure efficient inventory management
Education and Training

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an Endoscopy Technician certification program (preferred)
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to set priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
