Position Summary: BHSI is seeking a Technical Architect to enhance our Claims IT division. This role is pivotal in defining the future of our technical framework and driving essential automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and collaborate with specialists throughout the organization.
  • Lead the design and development of solutions to meet business needs.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Make informed technical decisions to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering Leadership.
  • Enhance business software processes.
  • Design Microservices while adhering to best coding practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience with Duck Creek Claims Product.
  • Familiarity with Duck Creek platform architecture.
  • Proficient in software design patterns and development methodologies.
  • Experience with object-oriented design, .NET, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Practical experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Architectural expertise in microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS).
  • Experience in software development and system administration.
  • Preferred understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance sector.
  • Aptitude for working in dynamic settings and resolving complex issues.
