Job Summary:

DHR Health is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Assume responsibility for the care and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area.
  • Perform quality control and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Document patient information and scan results accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CT scanner technology and imaging protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and stay current with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in radiography or computed tomography.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

The Medical Imaging Specialist will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and varying temperatures. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
