About the Role:

  • This is a key leadership position responsible for driving academic excellence across our schools.
  • You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • You will provide guidance and support to teachers and school leaders to help them achieve their full potential.
  • You will play a critical role in developing and implementing plans to ensure student achievement, supported by evidence from assessments such as benchmarks, classroom data, parent, and student feedback.
  • You will build and maintain a strong, positive, results-oriented school culture where teachers believe and promote student achievement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of teaching experience with a history of improving urban schools, increasing student achievement, and a passion for education reform.
  • Current California credential.
  • Master's degree and Administrative credential.
  • Previous leadership experience (e.g., department chair, assistant principal, dean).
  • Proven leadership and team building skills.
  • Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, walk, sit, and stand for periods of time.
