The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing hourly team members and implementing production and logistics strategies. This position is accountable for the comprehensive management of the assigned shift, which encompasses: warehouse operations, employee relations, production efficiency, site security, quality assurance, safety protocols, and adherence to regulatory standards. The role operates on a DAY shift schedule (4am-4pm), following a 2/2/3 rotation—2 days ON, 2 days OFF, 3 days ON, with every other weekend OFF (Fri, Sat, Sun).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the execution of production and logistics strategies through operators and other hourly staff in both production and warehouse settings.
  • Engage in the formulation and execution of policies and plans to ensure compliance across all areas of responsibility.
  • Manage production lines in accordance with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP/SQF program guidelines.
  • Direct and support operators in the implementation of production and/or logistics strategies (including receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, shipping, etc.).
  • Handle shift transition management and communication, along with daily production metrics and labor reconciliation.
  • Develop team members to ensure compliance and uphold quality standards.
  • Address challenges and resolve operational issues that may lead to performance setbacks.
  • Assist in Lean Training initiatives as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and food safety processes, which include maintaining sanitary conditions, allergen management, pest control, food safety policies, employee safety protocols, and MCRS sustainability standards.
  • Participate in daily food safety reviews.
  • Support and implement relevant projects as required.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems.
  • Understanding of GMP principles.
  • Experience in processes, packaging, and mechanical operations is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage personnel and collaborate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
