Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create three-dimensional images of tissue, organs, and other body parts. The images are used by radiologists to detect abnormalities, make diagnoses, and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, including preparation, explanation of procedure, contrast administration, patient positioning, imaging technique selection, and ensuring technical quality of the scan.
  • Enter and monitor patient data.
  • Conduct quality assurance on MRI equipment and matrix camera.
  • Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Participate in emergency call rotation within the department.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management, productivity, and service quality.
  • Promote professional growth and development by meeting mandatory/continuing education and skills competency requirements.
  • Model excellent service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
