Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Mavis Tire Supply in Monaca, PA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems
• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks
• Complete state-mandated inspections
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires

To be eligible for this position, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
• Have an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs

State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) are preferred.

This is an active position that requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
