Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
- Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
- Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires, and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
- Current License in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Weekly pay and direct deposit.
