Investment Associate Opportunity

Claire Myers Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Investment Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retirement management practice, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients through the investment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute buy and sell orders, rebalance, and maintain asset allocation in Envestnet.
  • Follow up and resolve all trade-related issues.
  • Prepare and process all paperwork needed for investment/advisory accounts.
  • Execute, monitor, and follow up on asset transfers as well as initial and subsequent funding of advisory accounts.
  • Discuss potential rollover opportunities from other retirement plans.
  • Process proposal amendments, monitor alerts, and annual reviews in Envestnet.
  • Monitor holdings for program eligibility in advisory accounts.
  • Participate in client meetings for financial or investment plan development or presentation.
  • Correspond with clients to manage advisory-related service issues.
  • Explain advisory products or advisory performance to existing clients.
  • Execute and monitor asset movement in accounts.
  • Discuss and understand tax consequences with clients.
  • Run performance reports in Envestnet, Morningstar, Ycharts, and NMCIR.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, and/or related field.
  • SIE, Series 7 and 66 preferred (or must acquire within first 90 days).
  • 2-5 years financial planning experience.
  • Extremely client-focused, initiative-taking, 'what more can I do?' approach.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and actively contributing to the group to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects.
  • Encompasses effective people skills to collaborate with team members.
