Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to employees and contractors on safety-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP).
