We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Bonner General Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic testing, maintaining quality control, and ensuring the accuracy of patient results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and monitor quality control on all testing, troubleshooting any issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment as scheduled and as needed.
- Maintain yearly competence in all areas through personal study, training, and continuing education.
- Monitor and document reagent tracking, including date of receipt, opened, and expiration dates.
- Utilize sound judgment and work independently to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field preferred.
- At least one year of continuous job-related experience preferred.
- Registered as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
