Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Desert Valley Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care, considering age and population-specific needs.
- May be assigned as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, responsible for the section or department during their shift.
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
- 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
- NRP (AHA) Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
