About the Position

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional customer service, multitask, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Loading and unloading luggage carts
  2. Organizing and delivering luggage for tour groups
  3. Escorting guests to rooms and familiarizing them with hotel services
  4. Inspecting guest rooms to ensure they are in order and that supplies are adequate
  5. Explaining features of the room, including operation of electronic devices and entertainment systems
  6. Checking and storing luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags
  7. Storing, tracking, and delivering packages as needed
  8. Delivering messages to meeting rooms
  9. Delivering flowers, laundry, packages, and other amenities to guest rooms
  10. Assisting with room changes
  11. Maintaining a current listing of local and area attractions, special events, and activities
  12. Maintaining a list of local transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
  13. Assisting the Houseperson with guest requests
  14. Ensuring the lobby reader board is correct
  15. Providing information, maps, and directions as required
  16. Showcasing guest rooms and suites as needed and emphasizing the hotel's amenities
  17. Performing other duties as requested by management
