Job ResponsibilitiesThe Environmental Services Team Member operates under the guidance of management and is responsible for the following:
- Delivering cleaning services with a focus on patient and visitor comfort.
- Exhibiting respect for the dignity and values of all individuals.
- Ensuring adherence to all procedural and process requirements.
- Following Infection Control protocols diligently.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients at all times.
- Promoting effective performance in all assigned duties.
- Complying with hospital and departmental housekeeping policies.
- Understanding and following safety guidelines for chemicals and equipment.
- Respecting patient privacy by announcing oneself before entering rooms.
- Demonstrating a positive attitude and fostering teamwork.
- Welcoming clients and family members positively.
- Responding tactfully to requests and demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Maintaining confidentiality of hospital and patient information.
- Using supplies responsibly and maintaining equipment properly.
- Reporting safety hazards and documenting issues as necessary.

Preferred qualifications include:
- Two years of experience in environmental services within a healthcare setting.
