As a CDL Driver at Mid-Atlantic, your responsibilities will include:
  • Transporting Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems products to clients within designated regions using various types of trucks.
  • Assisting the sales team with the delivery of new vehicles as necessary.
  • Safely handling and securing containers, parts, and equipment.
  • Adhering to safety protocols while operating company vehicles.
  • Collecting receipts or signatures for delivered items and processing payments when required.
  • Supporting the parts manager with shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Unloading stock equipment and parts upon arrival.
  • Assisting with the delivery and installation of compactor equipment.
Qualifications we seek:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid Class A or B CDL License
  • 2-4 years of professional driving experience
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical and drug screening
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred
  • Physical capability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach
  • Ability to lift and move over 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Capacity to enter and exit various vehicles independently
