Bus Monitor

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible student bus monitor to join our team at Student Transportation of America.

• Assist drivers in ensuring the safe management of students onboard vehicles, including supervision during entry and exit, safety checks, emergency evacuations, and communication with parents and management.

1. Safety and Supervision: Maintain a safe environment for all passengers by monitoring their behavior and providing assistance as needed.
2. Supporting Drivers: Collaborate with drivers to ensure smooth operations, including assisting with safety checks and emergency procedures.
3. Communication: Effectively communicate behavior issues and other concerns with parents and management.
4. Housekeeping: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of assigned buses.

• At least 1 year of experience working with children or students.
• Completion of comprehensive training program.
• Pre-employment background checks.

Estimated salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year. This estimate is based on national averages for similar positions in the United States and may vary depending on location and specific circumstances.
