Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate patient progress and problems to supervisors and team members, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs, promoting continuity of care.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition, adhering to hospital standards.
  • Present information to support marketing efforts, team conferences, and in-services, effectively communicating with various stakeholders.
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable state/federal laws, upholding professional standards.
Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, resulting in an associate's degree.
    • Current and valid state PTA license or equivalent in the states where services are rendered.
    • CPR certification (when required).
    • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to patient care.
