Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse specializing in Emergency Department (ED) for an exciting opportunity. This role involves providing essential nursing care in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview

  • Shift Length: 12 hours

The Registered Nurse will engage primarily in direct patient care, demonstrating proficient clinical skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Triage patients and gather vital signs and medical history.
  • Assess patients and provide immediate care in critical situations.
  • Administer care to both acute and non-acute patients.
  • Perform a variety of nursing procedures and assist physicians as needed.
  • Deliver physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care information.
  • Manage ambulance communications and direct pre-hospital care as necessary.

Working in a fast-paced and often stressful environment, the RN will utilize advanced medical equipment and handle diverse patient cases.

Facility Requirements

Candidates must reside outside a specified radius from the facility. Submission requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Updated skills checklist pertinent to the specialty.
  • Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years.
  • Valid state license and certifications (BLS, ACLS).
