Gerontology Professor

The University of Massachusetts Boston seeks a distinguished Gerontology Professor to join our esteemed faculty. As a tenured faculty member, you will contribute to the Department of Gerontology's mission to advance knowledge and understanding of aging and its impact on society.

• Conduct research on aging and its intersection with health, with a focus on underserved and marginalized communities.
• Teach courses in gerontology, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs.
• Mentor students through advising, committee work, and research collaborations.
• Secure external funding and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

To be considered for this position, you must have a doctoral degree in gerontology, nursing, sociology, psychology, demography, economics, social work, public health, or an interdisciplinary program. A strong research portfolio and teaching experience are essential.
