About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Water team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing electrical distribution systems for industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and ensure the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects and/or project components of varying degrees of complexity.
- Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer all electrical engineered systems or products for a project.
- Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner, and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Participate in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating.
- Develop and manage project specifications with construction documents.
- Conduct quality assurance and implement quality control on own projects.
- Conduct reviews of project deliverables produced by peers and subordinate engineers.
- Assist in the development of new standards and specifications for the electrical group.
- Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for all size projects.
- Assist with the development of proposals for potential projects.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects.
- Conduct and/or oversee field reviews required to assess as-built conditions.
- Conduct and/or oversee construction phase services, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and conduct reviews of construction for general conformance with design.
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of ten years of related work experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Industrial sector.
- Experience leading design teams.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
Working Environment
The typical office environment is a collaborative and dynamic workspace where you will work with computers and remain sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.
