About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed ENT Team at Baylor Scott & White Health in Killeen, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our award-winning healthcare team.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
As a licensed, certified non-physician healthcare provider, you will have delegated prescriptive authority, be credentialed and privileged, and your service will be billed as an independent billing provider, recognized by Medicare and Medicaid within our healthcare system, and in accordance with the appropriate board.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care
- Conduct comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories to assess patients' physical and mental conditions.
- Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to determine patient problems and health care needs.
- Prescribe, recommend, and/or employ medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatments and procedures, performing indicated procedures in accordance with approved policies, ensuring efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, management of health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate records detailing patients' treatment plans and outcomes.
- Texas RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege from a state party to the Nurse Licensure Compact for RNs and LVNs & Texas APRN.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Certification from an accredited board as an APRN for the patient population of focus required.

- Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with opportunities to see patients independently and develop a personalized schedule.
