What You'll Do

As a Product Engineering Leader at Clasp, you'll spearhead our product development efforts, building innovative solutions that will greatly improve the experience of every member in the health insurance ecosystem.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building Product: Collaborate with the founding team to define, architect, and construct our core offering from the ground up.
  • Establishing Technical Foundations: Develop robust technical foundations that scale with our largest partners' needs and future growth.
  • Driving Product Direction: Lead product direction and team construction as a critical member of the founding product engineering team.
  • Cultivating Partnerships: Foster partner relationships to identify and shape future product needs, informing our roadmap and feature development.

  • Exhibit strong product sense and translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effortlessly.

  • Exhibit a profound curiosity for exploring overlooked nuances and niche areas within complex technical and industry domains.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Enjoy technical writing and sharing knowledge and your work with the broader team and wider community.
  • Bring 3+ years of experience designing and building systems through multiple lifecycles.
  • Value code maintainability, testability, and clarity highly.
  • Communicate excellently, especially with non-technical team members and customers.
