Key Responsibilities

  • Manage structural engineering projects from conceptual design to construction completion
  • Develop and implement design plans, specifications, and reports for water and wastewater treatment plant structures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment plant design
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within one year of start date
  • Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD, and experience with structural software such as RAM, RAM Elements, STAAD, Enercalc, TEDDS, or Tekla
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
