Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Hill Country. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams using X-ray and CT technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic exams using X-ray and CT technology, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for exams, using proper technique and safety precautions.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, using digital imaging technology.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and reports.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Experience with X-ray and CT technology, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical effort.
