About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting a Department of Defense client by reviewing and vetting security vulnerability reports submitted by independent security researchers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the validity and scope of reported vulnerabilities
  • Assess each vulnerability for severity and assign an associated risk score
  • Serve as a liaison between public researchers and DoD system owners
  • Monitor and track progress on report submissions
  • Validate mitigation or remediation actions throughout the lifecycle of reports
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or engineering
  • Knowledge of Information Assurance tools, such as eMASS or ACAS
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with STIG requirements
  • CEH, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+, or related certification

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD).
