Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service and use guest names to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Resolve service problems according to guidelines and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
  • Serve as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions.
  • Promote casino events and programs to our guests.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to our guests, carrying full trays on every round.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
  • Take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks, and present drinks to guests.
  • Handle money according to procedure and maintain a clean and stocked workstation.
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
  • Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Count money and change correctly.
  • Know or be able to learn tray service and cocktail ingredients.
  • Available to work required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Able to lift and carry 20 lbs. (full cocktail tray) for extended periods of time.
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environments.
