The Customer Solutions Specialist (EDI) will report to the Director of Sales Operations and be responsible for supporting Solve's customers via Electronic Data Interchange. This role requires providing thoughtful and knowledgeable solutions to satisfy customer inquiries and troubleshoot product issues. The CSS (EDI) will utilize their prioritization skills to manage high-volume customer orders efficiently.

This position involves working closely with the sales team and technical team to ensure the sales life cycle for our customers is seamless. The responsibilities include:

  • Providing best-in-class service by responding to customer needs and effectively communicating the best applicable solution electronically
  • Entering and creating corresponding sales orders upon receipt of customer purchase orders, while advising on future forecasting of products
  • Working with the IT Department to bring in EDI and E-Commerce sales orders
  • Preparing accurate price quotes for customers, including estimates of related shipping charges and expected delivery dates
  • Staying current with product knowledge to accurately advise customers on the best product options
  • Efficiently responding to customer inquiries regarding adjustments, returns, credits, or shipment tracking
  • Partnering with the Regional Sales Manager to gain pertinent customer information and become the most qualified resource for sales support needs
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal departments to identify the best solutions for customers
  • Setting up client accounts in our CRM and maintaining/updating necessary client information

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Suite

An estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
