Compensation & Benefits

Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Dialysis Nurse Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Exceptional Patient Care: Providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or chronic kidney disease (CKD).
  • Managing Patient Cases: Overseeing a group of patients, conducting patient observations, measuring vital signs, and setting up dialysis machines.
  • Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Working closely with physicians, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Keeping accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.): A degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification in nephrology nursing (CNN) or dialysis nursing (CDN), preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a dialysis setting or critical care unit.
